So here I sit, in front of the computer, with my cup of coffee and the TV droning on in the background. The weekend is finally over. For those of you who work 9-5 jobs I suppose that sucks. For those of us that work 2nd shift jobs and weekends it's nice.
Friday Night at work. BUSY! Luckily I didn't have to close the place down. I was out by about 10 PM. Nothing major. Saturday night. Man, that felt so much busier than Friday, and it ended up NOT being busier. Normally, grille/sautee/fry, are a two man thing. Me and Dan on Friday nights, and while we dont always get along, we can both do our job usually. We had the owner working fry station, Dan on the Grille and Me on Sautee. We had so many burgers coming in it was crazy. The grille was filled with burgers, which then makes my job normally to set up the plates with the buns the way they need to be sent out. One no mayo, no onion, extra chesse. One with veggies, no peppers. One with Veggies no peppers or onions. One with Bacon and Cheese. Not to mention all different temps. Usually, not a problem. In the middle of all this though, Sautee orders were pouring in. Fettucine Alfredo, with shrimp, with chicken. Broccoli and Chicken. Shrimp Scampi. Chicken Parmasean. ETC ETC ETC. I just couldn't get to the burger sets. I tried. This is where the problems came in. Dan doesnt really like to read the tickets when he puts food in the window. So even when I have the set in the right order he tends to just read the first couple words, and miss the special instructions. Not a problem with 4-5 burgers. HUGE problem with 16+ Burgers going out. Oh well, thats life.
W o W? Eh. Haven't really been playing much. Raided a couple times last week. Stratholme. Upper Black Rock Spire. I did manage to finally get my Onyxia key.
My sick betta doesn't appear to be getting any better..:( Oh well. I have been doing what I could meds wise for him.
Oh well, I think thats all for today. I am going to try and make a commitment to writing here in the morning when I sit down with my coffee. Maybe it will help me make a commitment with regular life as well.
